Story
Named for Helen Burroughs, civil rights activist, black educator, orator, feminist, businesswoman, and all around badass. Fighting for equal rights amongst races and genders, founding the National Training School for Women and Girls in Washington DC in 1909 and being an active member of the NAACP are just some of the many accomplishments Helen made during her life. The Mesh Helene Ankle Skirt features her likeness amongst deep tones with a touch of sky blue.
